- It’s less stressful for an animal to remain in its home environment, and less stressful for the owner also! If you’re anything like me, your pets are a part of your family and mean the world to you. Taking them somewhere else and then walking away is heart-breaking. If you’ve ever had to leave your pet at a cattery or boarding kennel, you’ll know exactly what I mean!
- You don’t have to make the mad last minute dash to drop your pet(s) off anywhere! Just give them a hug, lots of love and know that they’ll be looked after by professionals who love animals just as much as you do.
- Your pets get to do what they normally do – sleep in their own bed, eat from their own bowl, look through the same windows, sniff the same scents, walk the same areas etc. During your free consultation, you’ll be asked about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes and all sorts of things that will help us to make your pet’s time with us as fun and relaxing as possible, allowing you to rest easy and enjoy your time away.
- All of our pet sitters are police-checked, know basic pet first aid, are professional and love animals so much they want to be with them all day! You can rest-assured that your pet will get all of the pats, cuddles, playtime, affection and care it needs while you are away.
- An added bonus of having a pet sitter come to your house once or twice a day, is that the activity creates the illusion that somebody is home. Security checks are done on each visit and automatic timers on electrical appliances (lamps, TVs and radios) can be set up for you at no extra cost. We wear a very conservative uniform so as to not draw attention to ourselves (and to the fact that you’re not home!) or our business. Our cars are also unmarked.
- Even the cleanest kennels have had cases where dogs have returned home with contagious infections such as kennel cough and parasites like fleas and worms.

Free consultation, meet & greet and quote. Packages can be customised to suit your needs and budget.
INCLUDED SERVICES (As requested)
- Feed pets, clean bowls & provide fresh water
- Playtime/walkies*
- Brush
- Poop scoop/change kitty litter
- Clean-up minor pet accidents/sweep around kitty litter tray and bird cages
- Administer basic medications (no injections)
- Indoor plant watering
- Take out and bring in rubbish bins
- Collect mail (residential mailbox only, no PO boxes)
- Security check
- Set-up of timers (lamps or TV etc), or rotation of appliances
- Open/close curtains
- Start car engine (don’t come home to a flat battery!)
- Pet Progress Emails
*Walkies not available in 15 minute visit. Duration will be determined by length of visit and number of other tasks requested. PetsPlay Home and Pet Care reserves the right to refuse to walk any pet for any reason.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
- Pet Messages - National calls only - 30c per sms, Voice calls - $1.00 for up to 3 mins per call. Picture Msg - $1.00 each. Emails are free.
- Emergency or scheduled transport to vet - $25 per visit (may also incur hourly fee)*
- Mowing of lawns – ask for quote
- Anything else you want done? Just ask!
- Water outside garden – ask for quote (subject to water restrictions)

PRE-RETURN ADDITIONAL SERVICES (Day before or of return)

- Grocery shopping - $10 plus groceries (may attract an hourly fee for large shopping lists)
